I visited Knoxville for the first time in many years, in Aug 2024, right after monsoon birding in Arizona. The plan was to do a morning of birding with local expert Roger, who took us to the Gupton wetlands nearby. It was incredibly productive, with a total of 42 species, including 3 lifers!
