I knew this trip was not going to focus much on birds, being a short trip with family, but I did manage to squeeze into it a day of birding in Copenhagen with outstanding Birdingpal Henrik, and an afternoon in Aarhus with another outstanding local expert Peter. Frankly, I did not expect to get a haul of 19 lifers on this trip. The weather was mostly gloomy during the week, but the birding was fantastic.
