This is a fantastic place for a day trip, close to Nairobi and full of all the big mammals you would expect at the Masai Mara, along with tons of birds. Our bird list for the day was 138 species!
Sadly, the animals at NNP are in general smaller and weaker than their cousins at the Masai Mara, because of a smaller gene pool resulting from being cut off from the larger reserves.
