Birded the Lower Rio Grande Valley with guides Ken Blankenship and Allee Forsberg. Over 4 days I saw 124 species with 26 lifers (total trip total was higher but I didn't see some that others saw).
In addition, I got my first look at an Eastern Indigo snake and a baby Western Diamondback.
And a whole bunch of beautiful butterflies at the National Butterfly Center, where we saw too an Eastern Screech Owl.
