From August 6, 2020-
A very special day- saw the Northern Saw-Whet Owl in North Bernal. Rare find, especially in the city.

I birded a lot in the last few months of 2020, hitting some new spots such as Shoreline Park in Mountain View (great location for photographing ducks in flight!), Santa Cruz, Brannan State Park, Truckee, Bodega Bay, and a morning spent watching a pair of  Bald Eagles building a nest in Milpitas. Lots of new pictures on this page from those trips, though only 1 or 2 new species.
