Finally, we made it to Kenya in the summer (or their dry season) of 2019!

1 day at Nakuru, 2 days at Masai Mara, 1 day at the Nairobi National Park, and 1 day at Lake Naivasha/Hell's Gate National Park (the last  dedicated to birding) yielded over a 150 lifers!

Included on the Nakuru page are birds we saw at Lake Elementaita, which was on the way. It was an unscheduled pit stop we made when we saw the surface of that lake covered with flamingoes!

Paul Kungu guided us on the safari (we saw a lot of birds, but not as many as we would have on a birding trip, since the focus of this trip was mammals); Sam Mariuki guided us on the birding trips to NNP and Naivasha. Both from the Sustainable Birding Company, which is highly recommended for their quality of guides and service!
